Terms of service

These terms apply to the TricksBiz Product Optimizer service at app.tricksbiz.com and this website, operated by Tricks Biz ("we"). By creating an account or connecting a store you accept them. The WordPress plugin itself is free software licensed under the GNU General Public License v2 or later; these terms do not restrict your rights under that license.

1. Accounts

• You must give a valid email address and keep your password secret. You are responsible for activity in your account.
• You may only connect stores you own or are authorised to manage.
• The Free plan's one-time credit allowance is granted once per person and once per store site. Creating extra accounts to obtain more free credits is not allowed.

2. The service

The service analyses product content you import, produces suggestions, and writes changes to your store only when you apply them. Features are described on the features page. We may change, add or remove features; we will not remove your ability to disconnect or to roll back applied changes while the service runs.

3. Your content and suggestions

• You keep all rights to your product content. You give us permission to process it as needed to provide the service, including sending part of it to AI providers as described in the privacy policy.
• Suggestions are generated automatically and can be wrong. You are responsible for reviewing them and for what you publish in your store, including accuracy, legal claims and compliance with advertising rules.
• You may use suggestions you apply without restriction.

4. Plans and credits

• Current plans are listed on the pricing page. AI actions use credits; rule-based scoring does not.
• There is no online payment at the moment. Paid plans are requested from your account and activated by us after we have agreed terms with you; the plan's credits are added on activation.
• Credits have no cash value and cannot be transferred or exchanged.
• Credits reserved for a suggestion that fails, or for products in a cancelled bulk run, are returned.

5. Cancellation

You can stop using the service at any time: disconnect your store and uninstall the plugin. To end a paid plan or close your account, use the support form . Because plans are activated manually, nothing is charged automatically.

6. Acceptable use

You must not:

• use the service for unlawful products or content, or to produce misleading, defamatory or infringing content;
• try to get around credit, plan or rate limits, or obtain free credits more than once;
• probe, scan or test the security of the service without our written permission, or interfere with its operation;
• use the API or connection mechanisms to access other users' data;
• resell access to the service without our agreement.

7. Suspension

We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or put the service or other users at risk. Where reasonable, we will tell you first.

8. Intellectual property

The service, its software (other than the GPL-licensed plugin), the TricksBiz Product Optimizer name and this website belong to Tricks Biz. WooCommerce and WordPress are trademarks of their respective owners; we are not affiliated with or endorsed by them.

9. No warranty

The service is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not promise that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, that suggestions will be accurate, or that using it will improve search rankings or sales. Keep backups of your store.

10. Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits or lost data, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

11. Changes

We may update these terms. We will change the date at the top and, for significant changes, tell account holders by email. Continuing to use the service means you accept the updated terms.
